Luke has experience in fence design and construction, as well as working/stock pen design to produce efficient cattle flow and handling ease. He uses a variety of handling methods to gather and work cattle including dogs, horses, all-terrain vehicles, and the trusty feed sack method.

In 2007, Luke received an Associate in Science degree in Business from Blinn College in Bryan, Texas. In the same year, he became certified in artificial insemination and palpation through Bovine Elite, Inc.

Luke competes regularly in area ranch rodeos, and has won the Top Hand Award multiple times. An avid bow hunter for 20 years, he loves the outdoors and goes hunting and fishing every chance he gets.
